Huawei to Provide Equipment for Telecom Italia's HSDPA Project

Huawei has been chosen by Telecom Italia to expand and upgrade its HSDPA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access) networks in southern Italy. According to Huawei's press release, the company's new-generation Node B solution, which supports full-performance HSDPA, HSUPA (High-Speed Uplink Packet Access), and IP RAN (IP-based Radio Access Network), will be deployed for this project.
